An idyllic retreat. Just what we needed. Already looking forward to visit 4.

I loved this cottage. I played on the stepping stones in the stream and fed the ducks. The cottage was really cosy and we switched the fire on and got snuggly....

The beds are so comfortable and the house so cosy. We slept very well. We loved it here. It is so peaceful and beautiful. The ducks have grown in number since our last visit in April!

We said we'd be back but didn't expect so soon. Fantastic!!! We'll be back!

A second visit to this lovely cottage in a beautiful area. A perfect retreat from the business of everyday life with an extra bonus of good weather for lots of walking. To be repeated next year.

A beautiful well equipped cottage in a peaceful setting. In 8 years holidaying in Dorset, the nicest place we have ever stayed - will come again hopefully.

For our first visit to Dorset we couldn't have chosen anywhere better than Garland Cottage, a lovely home in wonderful surroundings and 'the icing on the cake' - blue sky, hot sunshine and a deep turquoise sea.

We have had a lovely week, cottage is beautiful and seeing the ducks every day was a delight. We were also blessed with fantastic weather. The hill side walks are tranquil and beautiful, with plenty of natural wildlife to look at. A lovely part of the world (especially for Thomas Hardy fans)!
